ChatGPTのブランドガイドラインが2023年4月24日に更新され、OpenAI(ChatGPT)を使用した際のクレジット表記が明確に示されました。

「Written with ChatGPT」はよいが、「Written by ChatGPT」はダメとしています。ジーニアス英和辞典（第5版）によると、「受身では、byは行為の主体、withは道具を表す。（by 語法(1)）」とbyとwithの使い方が説明されています。ChatGPTにより生成された文章は、ChatGPTが主体として書かれたものではなく、利用者がChatGPTを道具として使用して書かれたものということですね。

ChatGPTが生成した文章は、利用した本人が書いたものとして責任を持つ必要があるということでしょうか。例えば、「この文章は一太郎が書いた！」と言わないってことですね。

ChatGPT APIを利用した表記についても、例えば「Meowlytics powered by GPT-4」と表記するように求めており、「MeowlyticsGPT」としてはならないとしています。

ついつい、「OCTくんGPT」としてしまいたいところですが、「OCTくん対話型サービス powerd by GPT-4」としなければなりません。

OpenAI・ChatGPTの年齢制限に続き、頻繁に規約等が更新されています。サービスを利用している場合は、規約違反とならないように、規約の更新にしばらくは注意する必要がありそうです。
